Today is another significant day for our Wishbone Day team. Maria Clarke joins our international team to support Wishbone Day growth in the region - Europe.
Maria is switched on and ready to go!
If you're ready to turn Europe yellow on Wishbone Day email Maria at europe@wishboneday.com and let her know what you have planned.
Our big news story for today, is that Heather Anderson will join the Wishbone Day support team representing the region North America.
Welcome Healther!!
Not only is Heather passionate about dispelling the myths about living life with OI, she also brings a wealth of personal experience, enthusiasm and a commitment to recognising and celebrating diversity in our communities.
We are pleased to announce our very first volunteer Wishbone Day Regional Liaison! Jeneth Sabay-Catapang has capably stepped up to this role for the Asia region.
Welcome Jeneth!!
Jeneth has been busy working to raise awareness of OI in the Philippines where she has been instrumental in the growth and establishment of the OI support - Philippines. Jeneth will use her passion for Wishbone Day and OI awareness to help others in the Asia region to make the most from their Wishbone Day celebrations and to share these activities through the Wishbone Day website.
Wishbone Day started with the question "What's possible?"
Since then Wishbone Day has surged its way across the world raising awareness about Osteogenesis Imperfecta.
Wishbone Day is making a difference through each and every one of you who embrace the fun and joy of Wishbone Day! We've seen improved networks and supports, better access to schools and other community agencies, greater understanding from communities and an overwhelming burst of enthusiasm towards action and hope for the future.
We love hearing your stories about how Wishbone Day has made a difference to your life, the amazing people you've met and the fun you've had on Wishbone Day. :-)
